Learning Processing

7 Oct

So after a long summer back at home in a busy part time job I have finally arrived back at Uni where I am straight back into the process of learning new techniques to further my skill set. Recently we have been learning a program called ‘Processing’, this software was initially used to help teach computer programming fundamentals through a visual process.

Learning the basics was fairly simple and I was able to produce simple things such as lines, rectangles, ellipses and, triangles. Below is an example of the code used and a screenshot of the output of this written code.

After learning how to draw some very basic shapes on the canvas I took an iterative process of going back over these shapes to make some improvements. The improvements where on the appearance, for this I changed the fill colour and the stroke weight. Again below are the example of the code and the new outcome of it.
